Which category is your business?
Udyam classifies an enterprise by both investment in plant and machinery or equipment, and annual turnover. Limits below apply from 1 April 2025.

Why get the certificate?
- Loans without collateral. Eligible for credit-guarantee backed schemes and priority sector lending.
- Protection on late payments. Buyers must pay MSMEs within the agreed time, and no later than 45 days.
- Tender benefits. Fee and earnest-money relaxations in many government purchases.
- Scheme subsidies. Support for patents, trademarks and quality certifications, depending on the scheme.

Are you a government office?
No. We are a private consultancy, not affiliated with the Government of India or the Ministry of MSME. You can register directly on the official portal at no cost. Our fee covers the guidance, document filing and follow-up we provide as your executive files the application for you.
Is Udyam registration free?
Yes. The government portal does not charge for Udyam registration. If you use a helper such as us, any service charge is only for that help and is told to you before we start.
Who can register?
Any manufacturing, service or trading enterprise that fits the MSME limits: proprietorships, partnerships, LLPs, companies, co-operatives and more.
Do I need PAN and GST?
PAN is needed. GSTIN details are also required for most enterprises, with a few exemptions. Rules change, so we confirm the current requirement for your case.
Can one business have two Udyam registrations?
No. An enterprise can hold only one registration. Add extra activities to it, and use our cancel form if you created a duplicate by mistake.
Does my Udyam number change when I update details?
No. The number stays the same. Udyam registration also does not need renewal, but you should keep your details current.
